Provide a Sensory Safe Play Zone for children with additional learning needs and who require a specialised development area filled with interactive equipment and sensory mood boards, portable play pieces allowing children to learn, develop and build relationships within a safe welcoming environment and an additional space to allow messy play, reading and a time out area. Initially for age 5-12 but with the aim to develop for different age groups.
In talking to experts in this field they have expressed that play is important to develop, nurture and build relationships for later life and a need has been identified in North Carrick
