To start Frome Bursary Fund for children and young local to access sports, arts and music opportunites outside of school
Not necessarily a point against this but a response to Rupert. The Frome Town Youth Band supplies its instruments for FREE to young people who get involved. I'm not sure if they are able to use these outside of the band though.
Many young people are not getting the opportunity to learn or play music at school. Instruments are expensive and teachers are usually outsourced. Music should be a key element in a child's education.
